With much sorrow we have to inform you about the sudden death of Dr. Klaus Aurisch, long-time member and husband of our board member Dr. Helga Aurisch. Dr. Klaus Aurisch served as Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Houston from 1991 to 1997; he was heavily involved in bringing the German unification and the tasks in rebuilding eastern Germany to the Houston community and many other places of the consulate general’s district.
