Sebastian Krumbiegel, entertainer extraordinaire from Leipzig, returns to Houston! The German Consulate General cordially invites you to a show/concert/evening of superb entertainment and a reception on Monday, November 24, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall, Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2353 Rice Boulevard, Houston, TX 77005. The Houston-Leipzig Sister City Association joins in this invitation.
As you are reading this, Sebastian is entertaining an audience on the Queen Mary 2 on its crossing from Hamburg to New York. He is multi-talented, writing his own material, composing his own songs, accompanying himself on the piano or on the drums, singing a lied, a chanson, or belting out rock – he puts on a great show.
As a front man of the Prinzen, the most successful pop group ever to emerge from the famous Thomaner Choir in Leipzig, he is also a sought-after soloist and talk-show guest on all types of topics, music, current events, politics, or the events leading to October/November 1989 in Germany. Whether he plays in small or large venues, clubs, theaters, pubs, or private parties, he always engages the people in the audience; he listens to them, he talks with them, and he entertains them.
You cannot miss this performance! In order to plan properly for the reception before the concert, the German Consulate General and Houston-Leipzig ask that you please reply right away to let them know that you will be attending the performance, by mailing to Philipp Kleiner at Vw-S@hous.diplo.de.
Limited free parking is available on the lot west of the church. Ample parking is available for $1 (credit card only) at Rice University’s stadium parking lot on the southeast corner of Rice & Greenbriar.
