We are delighted to present Dr. Joerg Meyer as our 2022 President. He has served as Vice President and President-Elect, and has been active on various committees. He and his wife Diana with their two children have lived in Houston on and off for a total of about 20 years. He heard about Houston-Leipzig from other Germans and they have been members for the past few years. These are his goals for his presidency:
“In 2022, we are determined to continue providing a very attractive, high-quality, and diverse program with monthly meetings both in Zoom format and in personal meetings for our members and friends. We also want to strengthen our relationship with the groups we engage with: first of all our friends in Leipzig, of course the Houston General Consulate, the German American Chamber of Commerce, the City of Houston, and other groups of people interested in Germany and related affairs: who work, study and/or live in Houston. We warmly welcome prospective and new members to our association.”
