Following is an invitation from the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern United States to all members and friends of the German Institute for the Southwest:
A new U.S. president will be taking office on January 20, and the last weeks have been marked by uncertainty and continued speculation regarding the new Administration’s agenda. Immigration has been one of the most important topics during the election campaign. So, what can you expect? How will this new Administration affect your business?
At our first German-American Business Dialogue in 2017, Ms. Teri Simmons, Director, International, Immigration and German Practice Groups at Arnall Golden Gregory, and Adjunct Professor, University of Georgia School of Law will provide an overview of current immigration policy and projected changes in business immigration law under the new Administration.
Date: Tuesday, January 31, 2017
Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: German Consulate General, 1330 Post Oak Blvd, Room “Central Plains”, 2nd Floor, Houston, TX 77056
The event will also give you an opportunity to network with other members of the German-American and international business communities of the greater Houston area. A light lunch will be served.
Event fee: $15. Please register here by January 26, 2017.
Disclaimer: For cancellations received up to 14 days prior to the event date, 50% of the event fee can be refunded. For cancellations received at any later time, no refund will be provided. Registrations are transferable. Attendance is possible only after payment is received.
