Our 20th Anniversary Celebration at the Junior League on Saturday, September 21, 2013, is almost upon us. We are so excited to see all of you, and are busy planning a wonderful evening.
We begin at 6:30 p.m. with a reception with hors d’oeuvres and a complimentary beverage of your choice (champagne, wine, or beer). There will be a cash bar for most of the evening. The program starts at 7:15 p.m. with the inimitable Steve Braun as our Master of Ceremonies. After recognition of dignitaries and greetings from Leipzig, Dr. Ute Eisele will make the President’s remarks, followed by the briefest 20-year retrospective, and the invocation for dinner by Dr. Robert Moore.
After dinner Dr. Klaus Aurisch will give the keynote address. A musical interlude follows with Michael Walsh, baritone, and Mark Mummert on the piano. Then we’ll have recognition by Sister Cities International (Washington) and Sister Cities of Houston, and a special thanks to our generous underwriters.
