Boris Ruge, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Washington, D.C. will present and discuss Germany’s perspective on international trade relations.

Mr. Boris Ruge has been the Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the German Embassy in Washington, D.C. since 2016.

Before his appointment to the German Embassy in Washington, D.C. he was the German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Special Envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh from 2014 to 2016. From 2011 to 2014 Mr. Ruge served as Director for the Middle East/North Africa in the German Foreign Office in Berlin. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cologne University and holds graduate degrees in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.

The event will also give you an opportunity to network with other members of the German and international business communities of the greater Houston area. A lunch will be served.
