Bach Society Houston collaborates with Ars Lyrica Houston for the closing event of this season. The Bach Choir performs the choral portion of Handel’s Alexander’s Feast – Or, The Power of Music which will take place on Sunday, May 17 at 6:00 pm at Zilkha Hall at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Bach Society Houston is pleased to join Ars Lyrica in presenting this rarely heard oratorio, which makes for a formidable evening of music and story—an event you won’t want to miss! In addition to the accomplished Bach Choir Houston, Russian-American soprano Yulia Van Doren will be the soprano soloist; she will be joined by Daniel Mutlu, tenor; and Brian Shircliffe, baritone. Please venture downtown for the last event of the season and enjoy this opportunity to hear some vocal and instrumental fireworks!
