Rotary Fire fIg

Did you know that due to exposure while fighting fires, the rate of mesothelioma in fire fighters is two times greater than the rate in the U.S. population?

Let us all support the Benefit Chamber Concert for the Rotary Fire Fighters Home on Thursday, March 13, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church.

Our friends at the Rotary Club of University Area Houston under the leadership of their President Irene Hickey are raising funds to build a 40-unit Rotary Fire Fighters Home in the Texas Medical Center as low-cost housing for fire fighters and first responders while they undergo treatment for injuries sustained on the job or for work-related medical conditions. Ms. Hickey is a Board Member and Vice President of Houston-Leipzig.

“You were there for us – we are here for you,” is their motto.Let us support their mission by attending the Benefit Concert.
